Just picked up this single-LED light at Big 5. The "stretch" part is this thing pulls apart sort of like one of those Eveready lights that's a combo flashlight/lantern. It's 4 1/4" long x 1 3/16" diameter, has a textured rubber sleeve on the body, and is water-resistant. It takes 3 AAA cells, has a pretty good beam when "closed", and works sort of OK as an area light when pulled "open". I don't have a digital camera or I'd post pictures. The label makes sure you know that it has "LED JAPAN-MADE, White", with a multi-color sticker added on. It's made in China (except for LED Japan-Made!), but there is no manufacturer listed, no address, no nothing. Somebody's sure proud of their product!

Anyway, I like it. It was $12.99 complete with Panasonic heavy-duty batteries and a wrist loop. Anybody else seen this?

Yep! That's the aluminum version. Mine's black plastic and black rubber. Wow! 8 bucks for shipping and handling. The thing weighs what? 4 ounces?

You might be better off with this:

CLIPPER 3

It's an excellent little light, nearly as bright as the Attitude, not much bigger than the CMG Ultra and much brighter. I cut/filed off the clip on one of mine to make it even smaller and more pocketable.
