Sheep's foot Slip Joint in 9cr13mov .
Build quality was ................... amazing ! You could spend $500 and not buy better !
The only let down was the factory grind on the edge , it was ....................................... very ordinary !
Don't get me wrong ! It was sharp , just poorly done .
So it was reground on my wet stone grinder / knife sharpener ! Then given some light leather stropping .
Slicing rope , the sheep's foot was hard on my hand & @ 400 slices I had to take a break .
Came back and did another 400 slices . At 800 slices the edge was feeling 2nd hand but still slicing paper !
My hand hurt ! So I called it a soft fail ( me being soft I guess ) .
How far could the knife have gone ? On the printer paper , maybe 1000 slices ? Who knows !
Re sharpening , on a guided system ... The knife took a very keen edge .
For the money spent , I got a crazy good knife .
