It looks ancient, but extremely well cared for. Perhaps a "presentation" flashlight issued by a rich company to its best excecutives, or as part of a severance package?

Might look better with a lambertian Luxeon in it though. :)

Here is another view. I took these off an auction with the permission of the seller. He said that I could post these out here to share with all of you.

This Flashlight is a solid brass 1923 Yale 2 C-cell Model. This light was restored by Jerry Lance. He is restoring them and putting them up for sale. Some go for quite a bit but others are quite resonable. I plan on owning a few of his restores eventually.

I promise, I am not affilitated with this person in anyway. It's just that after I saw some pictures of his lights, it just took my breath away.

I am going to send him an e-mail and see if I can talk him into joining this Board. I think he would be a welcome addition. Maybe he will become interested in the fine modern as will as the fine old. Im now sitting here dreaming of Arc's, SureFires, and old Brass Flashlights. There some interesting lights appearing on Ebay these days.

I was thinking that myself. I would like to see some companies make some brass flashlights using the latest technologies myself. Could you imagine a brass Arc or a Brass Surefire.

that just haven't gotten there yet.
