"Is it for target shooting? Do you hunt with it? What are you pursuing?"

I got the rifle in standard form in 2006 with the aim to building it into a
more purposeful lay in wait rat n rabbit shooter, wanted a synthetic stock
for wet weather that could be made compact for bike carry, there wasnt
options for this in 2006, so set about making and modding with what ever
I could get to make what I wanted. Purchased a used broken wood target stock
reinforced it added rails, bipod, sling mounts, sealed the wood, texture coated
and painted it along with scope. Then started to make an aluminium chassis
folding jobby.

As of now its still in the green target stock. I use it as pest control
on a caravan park out of season, which has a rabbit problem, lay a mat
down and a poncho incase it rains, lay for a couple hours observing
with binos. Summer times its on a farm, lay and wait for rats and pigeons.

Screwed up! Accidentally posted a pic. of Chauncey's air-rifle completely by mistake, instead of a pic. of my own.

Edit: See Above.

Did not realize I had a pic. of my air-rifle saved on my computer.
(Also, to avoid confusion. No, this is not my legally owned rifle that I mentioned in a different topic.)

That's a picture I took of my legally owned air rifle. 😁 I posted it to show how big a box Amazon used to ship it. There was no packaging to keep it from bouncing around in the shipping box.

So, I am confused ..... NO! Wait. You are. :yellowlaugh:

Oh crap, you're right! My brain has not been working right. Too many double shifts at work the last two weeks now. My apologies, old friend. Didn't mean to accidentally post your pic. as my own. I do have the same carpeting in my room, so that aided my confusion. That screw-up is on me. Genuinely sorry about that. Thanks for not getting mad at my admitted screw-up. I'll go edit that post now.

There's no reason to get mad. I knew you weren't trying to pull a fast one. I just thought it was funny, and knew you'd think it was also funny.

I hope all that overtime won't get taken by the Tax Man. That guy's a thief.

Actually, some air-rifles are capable of outperforming a .22LR round.
Not by a HUGE amount, but still....
