What are your brightest AA and AAA lights?
I think for me its:
* Fenix AA and AAA
* Rexlight AA
* JetBeam AA

My brightest AA light is a Fenix L2D. The best AA throwers I have are Streamlight ProPoly 4AA Lux. I don't own any AAA lights, except Princeton Tec EOS headlamps, which are pretty bright with SSC P4 upgrades and Khatod reflectors.

My brightest AA light for now is a Mag85 but I have a USL in the pipeline.

Out of my limited but well liked collection:

Brightest AA (2xAA) Fenix L2D-CE

Brightest AA (1xAA) Rexlight v2.1

Brightest AAA (3xAAA) LED Lenser Police Focus w/stock <brightest overall!>

AA: Fenix P2D-CE (P4)

Sometime next week the answer will be a P2D RB100 :whistle:

AAA: no idea, don't have any AAA lights that I've intentionally bought. :faint:

My LF2 SSC P4 is super bright with a 10440 battery. It is bright enough to light up house numbers easily from the street.

Brightest AA - Dexlight X1 w\14500
Brightest AAA - Ultrafire 602C SSC w\10440;

I am getting a LF2 soon. Twisty Single 10440\AAA seems to be the best EDC light for me.

I am suprised nobody has put their Draco on the list, those little suckers put out! Maybe I'll have order one so it's on the list (any excuse for a new torch) lol

But the Dracos don't run on anything lower then 3.6v and the battery is much shorter then a AAA battery.

+1 Fenix L2D100 for 2xAA

175 lumens; narrow, steep reflector; bright spill; great regulation.

My brightest AA-lights:

- 2D-Trilux-Mag, Fatman-driver and 8xAA
- Cutdown 1D-LuxV-Mag, Fatman-driver and 4xAA
- Aleph3 with Badboy-driver and 2xAA-tube

Best regards

AA
MTE 1xAA SSC-P4 42180-U
(Elektrolumens Lucidus XR-1 on 14500)

AAA single
Ultrafire 602C Seoul SSC 42180-U
(Fenix L0D-CE on 10440.)
(The L0D-CE AAA on high is similar to the Ultrafire AAA but takes 5 twists (on-off-on-off-on) to get there so I gave the nod to the 602C)

AAA multiple
Electrlumens My Little Friend 3xSSC-P4

I do not have a multiple AA that is very bright but am eyeing Elektrolumens Firelion 3AA 3xSSC-P4

Technically, you cannot say they are brightest AA or AAA lights if you get the extra brighness by using non-AA/AAA 3.6v batteries is it? hehehe.
:thumbsup:

I agree... using a AA or AAA sized 3.6V sized Lion battery to get the brightness isn't exactly what I'd consider for a brightest AA or AAA light :thinking:, but to each his own I guess. :sigh:
