Ok everyone,
I wanna know prices and size aside. What your most powerful (in lumens) flashlight is. As long as it runs on batteries it counts. The brightest puppy you got. Mine is only a superfire 9v rated at 214 lumens.

I have an Ultrafire WF-500 which is rated at 500 lumens. Then I have a 2 million and 10 million candle power spot lights, but I don't know how candle power translates into lumens.

Runs on 4 Group 31 batteries. :nana:

Surefire M4 with N62 lamp on four Surefire primary cells. I'm almost as happy with a M3/MN11/Leef 2x18650. I have no urge or need for anything brighter, although one of those "tank searchlights" mounted in the rear of my wife's pickup truck would be fun at the lake.

I'm going to get beaten badly here. But i dont think it matters (the lights matter not there lumens)

But

1. SureFire G2 with High Output LA: 120 Lumens (Might be higher or lower)
2. SureFire A2 Aviator: Website says 50, Most likely 70-80ish from what people say

I guess thats what happens when you don't buy enough lights per month. Your lumens slightly deprecate. I guess its time to buy more lights. :shakehead

(output values are home 'measured' not rated)

Most powerful - Sam's HID - ~3000

More practical - Mag 2C, w/2AW C Lions + 5761 - >800

Pocketable - Surefire G2 w/ DX 7.4v 15w drop-in - 160

EDC - Orb Raw NS - 120

Borealis/Mag85 by Juan C; about 1050 lumens off 9AA rechargeable batteries.

This much light is VERY useful in caves, old mines, and doing way-off-road scouting in the dark (e.g., river crossings).

Cyclops "15 million candle power" spotlight. Basically a high power (130Watt) H4 automotive bulb in an 8.5" reflector powered by a small 12V AGM lead acid. It's pretty hilarious.

I have a mini version of this, the one with the 6v 55w H3 and a 5" reflector. Know what you mean about "hilarious" - I get the giggles whenever I turn it on.

Love to know how many lumens yours would put out.
