Hello guys,

The nights are getting longer, the days are darker. Pretty soon, you are going to succumb to the temptation to get another Lummi usable yet collectable flashlight.

Or maybe someone special will buy one for you? Christmas is coming, and alot of you will have birthdays coming up soon (14th November is 9 months after Valentine's Day - work it out for yourself why there are so many birthdays coming up)

I have got to admit, the bead-blasted Wee Ti looks amazing. It is just such a beautiful satin finish. I bet it grips in the hand a bit better when wet too. As if that was not tempting enough, Rob is now supplying Q3 neutral white emitters. Combining the two together makes one very beautiful flashlight. This is next on my list to buy this winter.:twothumbs

Ok, so what are you guys considering? Would love to hear your reasons, even if they would appear extraordinarily lame to Mr Average Joe Public:crackup:

My next Lummi will be my first Wee, a Wee Da. I have been wanting to try out a Wee and I think it will be a nice compliment to my Raw Da. I'm also very interested in a CR2 Raw when (if) it's released

I'm waiting for the raw al camo. I skipped the bare al in favor of the anodized one, as I'm planning to keep it on my keychain.
I think the hard steel split ring would eat through the attachment point a lot faster on the bare aluminum, and that's the main reason I'm going with the camo.
The raw ti is nice (I have one :naughty: ), but I'm going with al for edc to keep the weight down to a minimum.

Looking at getting a wee, not sure which one.

Nathan,

I have a Wee Ti 80, and my lady has a Wee NS 80. Both are excellent lights, but I am more of a sucker for Titanium. If you wish to ask comparative questions about either, don't hesitate to drop me a PM.

It will be my birthday before Christmas, and I intend to get my hands on a Bead-Blasted Wee Ti with Cree neutral-white Q3 emitter. If you have any questions about that when I get it, please ask away.

Cheers,

Mike

Crikey! That is some serious dedication to keeping the weight down - Al over Ti. 7 grams I believe!

Just 7 grams? I'll have to give it some more thought then; I could just get an R2 module and a cree reflector instead (my Ti is an older luxeon model)...hmm

Sterling Wee (or Sterling Whatever :takeit:)... *if* it's going to happen eventually...

I shouldn't have my hands on these yet as one's a Birthday pressie for me (October) and the other is a Christmas pressie for the misses:hairpull:.

I've got a Raw NS R2 200/100 lumens.........200 for wow factor and 100 for walking at night with a reasonable run time:thumbsup:

I got the misses a Wee NS Neutral Q3 50 lumens as I think she'll appreciate the warm tint and its a good ballance of output/runtime:santa:

How the hell do I upload a photo onto here?????????:thinking:

Thanks I ordered the wee ns, bead blast last night and picked 50 lumen option.

When I ordered the bead blast finish it said it comes with a r2 107lm.

What is that?

By default, the Bead-Blasted Wee NS comes with the ultra-efficient Cree R2-binned emitter, direct-driven to 107 lumens approximately. By selecting the '50 lumen' option, you will get a Cree R2 emitter which has a current limiting resistor to conserve charge for longer runtimes.

In practice, the '50-lumen' figure is from the Cree Q5 emitter. The R2 is more efficient so expect a little more output, but with the same runtime.

I'm still waiting for the New CR2 Raw :sigh:
Maybe I'll get one at Christmas?

Go to photobucket.com (or one of the many image hosting websites), open an account. Upload your pics, then copy the IMG code from under the pic you wish to post. Go to the area where you write you CPF post, click the button that says "insert image" copy the IMG code of the pic into the box which pops up. Click go, and ......ta da your pic will dispaly.

Edit - I've just read that and it sounds daft, I'm too tired and going to bed, I'm sure you'll work it out.
Good luck

Thanks Essexman
