Zebralight Sc700d not working

Hi all
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, I just received a sc700d, also bought 2x Samsung INR21700 40t batteries, charged them both, the light worked a few times and now will not turn on at all, on either battery.
Has anyone experience similar?

I have had 2 zebralights over the years that stopped working. On both accounts the issue was with the tailcaps. Basically the solder point at the spring failed. That is where I would look first. If that is the issue then replacements are easy to get through zebralight.

Yes, some sort of contact issue would be top of my list to check.

So these sc700 lights don't have springs in the tailcap. It has 8 little prongs that stick up. When the battery is in there, there is play from side to side. I've tried 3 other 21700 batteries and the light will not turn on. I've only had this light for 3 days. Not getting much response from Zebralight.
