Flashlight Enthusiast
Greetings,
Why do we get caught up in the numbers game? Do output numbers truely matter? Ask yourself the following.
Does the agonizing wait for delivery equal the rush of first activation?
When you test your light in your special place, everyone has one, mine is the hallway in my house, and your light matches your expectations, do you soil your pants?
When you use your light do you say to yourself this is one cool light?
If you answered yes to the above does it really matter if your "L2" is 80 lumens or 100?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder not some number on a box.
When you run into a fellow flashaholic and compare EDC's does anyone really say "HA! my light is 0.3754 lumens brighter than yours!"
The only thing I can see a number fixation getting you is an empty wallet and allot of unappreciated flashlights.
There will always be something new, but are they truely better?
