ZeroHour XD (XM-L2, 3x18650 3400mAh, USB charging) Review: RUNTIME, BEAMSHOTS+more

Tech neophyte here and I'm gonna need to buy a vowel if I'm to at least try to answer intelligently. What does OAL stand for? I'm happy to pop mine open and dig in if that might help. Also, you may want to go to the Kickstarter page for the XD (they preserve them intact) as I recall they had fairly extensive and detailed info on the batteries et al. There were two different configurations in term of battery systems available if memory serves. I got the bigger/more expensive option if that helps.

I saw where ZeroHour is rewarding their micro-investors in the new Relic model by adding several new enhancements and accessories including a charger. So effectively they've sweetened the deal.

Overall length is OAL. 18650 (protected) have a large spread in lengths with some at 70mm. Knowing what the OAL of the included cells would provide a perspective buyer with the option of buying the X version and providing cells longer in length provided the XD/XS 18650s are not already on the long end of the scale. The difference in battery options are between the XS and the XD versions. The XS has lower mAh cells. Another advantage to providing your own batts is the availability of higher mAh (longer runtimes) batts. There are good 3600 mAh 18650s showing up.
