I've been looking for a battery charger that has no internal circuitry since I'm looking to charge batteries with my bench DC power supply.
I have a rechargeable led light system that uses 2 - 18650 batteries to run each light panel. There are 3 panels so I'm looking to upgrade all 6 batteries.

I want to build modular flashlight (not for firearms, so recoil isn't a problem)
My idea was to use:
There are quite a few LED tubes & bulbs that are dimmable using a regular wall dimmer. What is different in their driver circuitry compared to non-dimmable

WalkIntoTheLight Today, 05:37 PMHi Dimitri,
Maybe it would be helpful to us if you explain why you want to do this.
The most efficient and safe way to charge cells seems
Yes, just like with lithium-ion cells, only buy Eneloops from a reputable dealer. i.e., Not Ebay, Amazon, anywhere in China, etc.
WalkIntoTheLight Today, 05:26 PMWhy is this even an issue?
Your 12vdc power supply is being powered by AC, or other batteries?
Charging batteries with batteries
Agreed about the GA not being a great cell for cold weather. Zebralight designs are done in Texas, so cold for them likely means having to put on a shirt.
