I was wondering for those of you who are using youre E1B with the Z68 tailcap and the two mode is in the tailcap does that mean that you just get the full 80 lumen output?

I should have mine this week for $99 NIB delivered, but I wanted to use the tailcap with the 2 modes with my Malkoff P7 and was hoping the switch can handle the draw.

E1b with E to C adaptor and 6P bezel w/Malkoff P7 direct drive. I will be using AW 16340 cell and I was hoping having 100 lumens on low and 700 on high would not be an issue for the tailcap.

The E1B, E1L, E2L, E2DL all have their two modes controlled by their bezels. The TailCap is 'dumb' in that it merely breaks the circuit prompting the bezel to switch outputs if the circuit is completed again shortly afterwards.
The same can be achieved with a paper clip...
