This morning I charged an AA battery at 700ma. According to the manual for my La Crosse charger this should have taken about 3 hours. Instead it only took 30 minutes. It's been a month since the last charge, so between self-discharge and regular use it should have been quite depleted.
Does this indicate a faulty charger or is there another explanation? The battery was sitting around for a year or two before I started using it last month for the first time.
