Dorcy super 1 watt 3D runtime?

The Dorcy super 1 watt 3D at Target (for ~$20) has an advertised run time of 300 hrs. It seems to make a good blackout/earthquake/emergency light. Just out of curiousity, is that 300 hr the time to run until 50% output? Does anyone have any experience with how many hours of useful light you can get with this light?

It should run a good long while, but nowhere near 300 hours. Doug at flashlightreviews.com got 20 hours out of the similar, but not identical older style 3D Super 1W but depending on the Vf of his particular LED and the one you may get if you buy one will change that number.

I will almost assure you that you will get 15 hours of very good output, probably followed by well over a day of additional decent output.

These are conservative figures. The additional runtime will probably be a lot more than that... just depends on what you consider useful light.
