Because a lot of parts have already been completed, CR123 or CR2 edition need to wait until the next new model of making.

three AAA usually indicates direct drive light. is this light regulated?

just read original post...

after several requests for info concerning what type of boards. no response to how this light is driven.

is this light direct drive or regulated?

TWAL stars pictures are posted. Lbin vf would indicate a direct drive light?

i think it's DD. post 33 in the original thread says there isn't any circuit in the light. i think i'll wait for the next round with cr123s...maybe he'll also try and fit in a circuit?

Hi All guys~
that have some reason to use three AAA batteries and direct drive
1. AAA battery is inexpensive and general~
2. three AAA batteries provide 4.5V and 1200mA(at beginning)
From lighting to go out about 20 hours

Just received my light today. Very fast shipping. My first impression is this is a very well made light. the switch is incredibly smooth with no play what so ever. It is also quite bright not blinding but bright. It is brighter then my L1P not by a lot but it is brighter, the hotspot is brighter and it has more usable spill. It is about the same size as my Surefire G2. All in all this is a very nice light.

Arrived in the UK today. I have to say I think the workmanship is excellent. The DD on 3 fresh AAA is very bright (Must be lucky with Bin). :devil:
