There was a previous model with polycarbonate lens and old reflector.
The 'UP' is used to differentiate the UPgraded version which comes with a UCL (Ultra Clear Lens) and new reflector. The length of the bezel is slightly longer to accomodate these new features too.

You'll need to use babblefish if you don't understand Korean.
I'm sure some of the renowned review sites have picked this light up too.
