Welcome to CPF!
Can you fill out the location in your profile so people do not send you to Target to buy a River Rock 2AA.
The source charges too much for the flashlights they sell.
For example this

is the same as this

Both prices are in canadian dollars.
I would not buy a flashlight at the source unless it is on sale at least 1/3 off the regular price.
I do not have the flashlight you are considering. But.....
2AA does not give enough voltage to power leds. So a boost circuit is used. THe amount of light depends on the boost circuit as much as the led. When 3 watt leds became plentiful many manufactures switch to the 3 watt led (good advertising - I got a 3 watt instead of a 1 watt) but did not triple the power of the boost circuit. As a result the new flashlight is not much brighter than the old one. Buyer beware!
The 1 watt version of my price example above produces 20 lumens.
The 3 watt produces only 25 lumens, not the expected 20x3=60 lumens.
Do not get hung up by the 1 watt / 3 watt thing.Check the actual light output. Flashlight reviews is a good place to start.

Hang around the furum for a bit and you will find much better choices. Or at least wait for The Source to lower the price from $60 to $40
Some lights to look at within your price range assuming you want to stay with AA batteries:
Fenix L1P - 1AA makes this light small and pocketable. Similar in light output as the 3 watt Nexxtech/Nuwai in my price sample. 4sevens and litemania sell it in the dealers forum. JSB and Emillion sell it over the net.

Looks like the less expensive L1 will soon be available again

If you really need the light of a true 3 watt try the Electrolumens Blaster Jr. It is big, the size of a 2D torch.
