a uv and a jil comparasion question

hi

I may have been away from this forum for a while, but man i am itchn' to buy some new light to make up for lost time, ever feel like you just gotta buy a new light??

hoping that i could get some help here in the form of a recomendation

need 2 things (both led based)

a small sized (no bigger than a jil) UV light, but i don't really want to spend much money

and I was thinking strongly about getting a jil, it seems great, small bright etc what would be it's direct competition? before i buy one i'd like to compare it to it's direct 'competition'

jil's new competition is the amilite neo t3.. but it isnt Ultraviolet.

I wouldn't really say they are in competition, although both are Korean lights of high quality. The JIL is much smaller. The Amilite is much brighter, at least comparing the Neo T3 to either the DD or 1.3 up models. I have both the JIL and Amilite and use them for different things. For an effortless EDC, it's hard to top the JIL. It really disappears in the pocket. With the Amilite, you know it's there, but it's still tiny compared to most single cell lights.

Jillite is avalible from litemania with the Cree 1Watt UV in it....
