Exploding Lights!

I've heard some recent stories on exploding lights! Mainly m@gs and
Pelican Super SabreLite Submersible, Model 2000 series.

The one link is some very non-specific story submitted to a TV show. The other has some actual reports of exploding flashlights.

However, notice that all the known incidents involve violating one or more of the big DO NOTS in battery use. There is very obviously good reason why we do not mix brands, chemistries or use times.
