building flashlight info?

can someone link or post on how you basically make an LED flashlight? im real new and dont understand much so some basic info on advanced parts would be appreciated too.:thanks:

i was looking for info on a simple one to make. i would want to make one with LEDs using simple common batteries

thanks but i was already going to go towards getting the SMJLED

i guess what i really am saying saying is how do i build i guess you would call the light module? the part with the LED's, reflector and all the other parts needed to create an LED you have to fit into a light that you have. does anyone have any info on this?
