I am building a custom LuxIII light right now and have a few questions:
1) I want the output to be a narrow flood with no major brightness shifts in the beam, I just want a smooth transition from the hotspot (very small hotspot is ok) outward. Would a McR-18 with a Lux 3 work well for this?
2) I am working on a control circuit design and it is almost done but the thing is I am not sure how to make it dim. I mean I know how to do it with a dip switch or a pot using this IC (right now with a Dip switch I can get 256/680/940ma or using a Pot I can get continuously variable from about 250-1000ma)... but what kind of circuit is used so you can push the power button multiple times and go through different levels?
