Ok, so i havent seen one of these before. Whats the lumen output? I have a KL6 I use on my M3 does the KL2 give longer runtime than the KL6? Exactly how hard is it to locate a new KL2 conversion head? Thanks in advance for any info. I think that would look badass on my M3.

The KL2 is outdated... its using 19 Nichia 5mm's? Stick with your L6. It'll provide more light for a little less runtime.

So are these rare or pretty common? Whats the lumen output on this? How long has it been discontinued?

well, I dont know about the lumens, but it has no throw. They have been outdated for over four years I think.... I dont know though.

The KL2 has long been discontinued.
It's output was about 27 lumens for 90 minutes if I recall correctly.
Bit of a waste of an M3 or M6 power IMHO but it's output is wide (non-beam) and good for close up general illumination. For example, I'd use a KL2 rather than put a BeamShaper on an M6!
(but I have other flashlights so that's an unlikely situation).

Not rare as such - made rare by time I guess.
