I know we have some CPFer's of the Jewish faith so I wish them a joyfull Holiday that I think just started for them. Please forgive my ignorance if my timing is a little off, I seem to recall it envolves sundown as a starting time and the sun is going down now in Jonesboro.

happy hannuka. The town I grew up in was more than half jewish, which was nice because I got holidays like rosh hashana (not sure how you spell that) off from school. Have a good one.

Read your bible.
Jewish holidays and the Jewish day begin at sundown because of GENESIS.

Here's the quote from King James bible:

"... And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day...."

Notice that EVENING comes before MORNING.
Therefore, each day begins at night.

Yes of Course I just did not figure sundown In Jonesboro happened at the same time sundown in Israel did. As I am not Jewish I was not aware if they used a standard time like Zulu Time or if they just went by local time wherever they are.
