New fenix holster impressions

I just recieved my replacement fenix l1p hoslter from fenix. They were really nice and were quick to arrange something between me and JS burlys. This replacement was for my other holster where the velcro broke off. They sent it in the new style which is in my oppinion much better than the original even though it does not have a cover. The flashlight fits in very snug and will not come out without pulling it, I made sure of this by turning it over and shaking it.

Call me lame but I like the old holster better.


The new one rubs against my skin above the belt line and I don't like how hard it is to insert the Fenix. I have a lanyard on my Fenix so I have to insert it bezel down and it caused some abrasions to the rim.


I will trade my new version for an old flap style if anyone is interested.
