Can someone give me some ideas why I cannot lockout or get into the software for my Lioncub anymore?

I can still cycle through the level and latch over to high, but I cannot lockout (which I need) or get into the menu mode.

Any ideas?

What? Didn't you check the expiration date as indicated in the FINE PRINT of the software/hardware license that came with your light? :D

Sorry, guess I can't help - but a little levity in one's day is always a good thing. With more and more advances in lighting technology, it's just a matter of time.

They're already licenses, disclaimers, warnings on just about everything else - sooner or later it's bound to apply to our lights...wait, in "some ways" it's already been established in a small way on some flashlights we're already familiar with - such as this one, yes?

Requirements to "register" one's light and be in good standing with a company for their support would constitute an agreement, yes?

There are companies that honor lifetime warranties regardless.

Didn't mean to "stray" too far off topic - but it's certainly applicable in today's world!

I've got to say "K.I.S.S." applies in certain HOT situatons where one's life may depend on a light only to find out it needs some sort of "reboot" by the manufacturer. BTW, did you try a hardware "reboot", taking the battery out for a few minutes and then putting it back in?

Sig, I can't believe I actually read the entire "disclaimer!" (Who hasn't seen every single sentence at least once!)

I had to read it to make sure it was appropriate for our "family"! Thing is we all understand that it really isn't a complete list either!! :ohgeez:

Ok, back on topic...how about that hardware reboot? Maybe you should contact the manufacturer?

well I figured out what was wrong, I was clicking too fast, so I slowed it down a little and it works fine now.
