I love this little light. My son got it for me as a Christmas gift and I could'nt be happier.
I was hesitant at first due to my zero knowledge of the nitrolon material but it is a hard durable feeling stuff. I also thought
it would be kinda slippery but not so.
The sguares molded in the nitrolon have
fairly crisp edges on them and the grip
is great.
I like the military look of the OD.
Yeah.....it's a plastic light but, when
I took it apart that Surefire quality just
jumps out and grabs you.
Surefire is TOPS!

Where you'll really appreciate that is outdoors in winter without gloves. The more expensive metal cases take heat out of your fingers at an amazing rate, but this Nitrolon seems more sensible. Since the Lithiums can stand the cold, it seems reasonable that your hands should be protected by an insulator like Nitrolon.

You southerners (US) can ignore all this talk about winter and cold, of course.

Mark. I resemble that remark on us suthern folk. As I write this I am looking out my window at three inches of fresh snow. Also I have snow(?) on my T.V. because of snow on the dish(BUG) big ugly dish)). Oh well, the weather is so nice, I'll just put on the old boots and go out and broom the dish.
Yours from central Alabama.

I've got a Yellow G2 and I grab it quite often over the others cos I see it first!

Nitrolon is impressive stuff.

I just recently aquired the large version of the G2; the 8NX. I think I'm going to like it pretty well. I'll probably get the G2 after I've bought all the other lights on my want list (like that's going to ever happen).
