Hello, Newbie here!

A moderator over at www.zombiehunters.org and www.azt3k.tk sent me over here to check this out. Great site!

I am a confessed flashlight junkie. I can never have enough. I just bought a Browning (I have already forgot the model!) that uses CR123 lithiums and supposedly has a 90 lumen capability. Not a bad light, but I have used and own better.

I tend to use one of three lights daily: a SureFire E1e Executive, an Inova X5 or X1. These serve me quite well.

Hope to chat on here quite a bit.

When you are in the forest at night, you just can't have too many flashlights!

Thanks for the warm welcome, all.

I am already broke from buying lights. Spent my budget for flashlights for this year last year!

If I may ask, are LED's considered an incandecent light?

Welcome, ForestAtNight!

Nope... an LED doesn't produce light by heating up a filament (the candle in incandescent). It's more of a quantum light, producing photos directly from the changing energy states of electrons. It's probably about as direct of a method of light production as you can get from electricity!
