Led Art?

i was scanning in 3 different leds to get a close look at the gates, and photoshop got the better of me.

I used to put LEDs in posters (the NYC Skyline, the Starship Enterprise, etc) back in 1992-1994. I made several, and used blue LEDs from Cree in 1992. They were in the deflector dish of my Enterprise poster, and it has been continually powered since then, except during moves. They are still bright (as bright as 460nm (?) SiC LEDs were back then)!!!

the lines came from the photoshops lighting filter, they are light streaks in a lens i guess. premieres lighting filter has better lens flare in it.

i was able to see the internals of the led, notice the wires dipping in at the gate area?
i thought that was cool, hard to see with a nakid eye.
one of the leds is a 4 die led, but i dont see the difference ?
