To answer your question, I think they are jazzed up versions of those old Army style flashlights. My brother got one when he joined the Army over 20 years ago.

Certainly seems they pumped up the power, but incandescent? Eh.. :ironic:

Tom Edison invented incandescents over 125 years ago. Every other technology has moved on, and so have the people. Flashaholics should do the same in my humble opinion. But that is me.

yes, they are hopped up versions of the old 90 degree light...but the old one was durable, simple and lasted long and hard on the flight deck. I'd like to know of this one's build, performance and durability..

Bruner, I figure it will be some time before I can consider getting one of these, but it does look impressive....not to mention kinda cool. If anyone would know about this, or could probably get you one reasonably, or know where to get one would be John at Lighthound.com I would try him if you haven't already.
