Luxeon part numbers?

How can I tell what the bin codes are by the Luxeon part number?
for example what would this one be? LXHL-LW3C (TWOJ maybe?)
Is there any site that breaks the numbers down into something understandable.

You could check the manufacturer's web site and look for the product code. You will find what you are looking for about 2/3 of the way down the page. There are also lots of other docs there that will explain the bin codes.

I understand what the bin codes mean, My question is how do I know what the bin codes are when all they list is the part number?

So when you buy some emitters, are the bin codes marked on them somewhere?

How about the stars, are they all marked on the back like the one on my Dorcy 1 watt?

on an emitter i don´t know.
on a star you are right.
