My guess raggie is that the jerks stay around so they have a chance to redeem themselves. Sad thing is, most of them never do.

It sure seems that way. The good ones have their lives cut short too soon while the weasels seem to go on and on like the Energizer bunny.

We never know when the jerks dies,since there is alwayse another to replace him. People we love can never be replaced...
