How do you replace the batteries in a pelican l1.

I got one for Christmas, and have been trying to figure out how to take the batteries out.

I tried simply prying the led board out, but it seemed like it would take too much force.

Thanks

Unscrew the business end of the light. The lens and reflector will come out with the (whatever you call that which you unscrew, the proper word escapes me). Then simply push on the switch button till it clicks and continue to push. The LED, circuit board and battery holder will pop out.

Replace the batteries, drop it back into the body and screw the head (?) back on. You will be in business.

p.s. I think these are great little flashlights. I have a red LED one from batterystation which is very bright. I have adapted a white LED on to use the fiber optic MiniMag addon from Nite Ize. Makes a great inspection light.

Thanks! it works like a charm.

I was impressed by the brightness and smoothness of the clickie.

Just a little wide to be an EDC for me.
