Any information on The use of UV lites, concerning Glasses. what shade will enhance,the best return floreance under most conditions outside> >Inside, With lighting on, >and Off.
This is a great Forum.

I find that yellow lenses block out the uv but allow you to see the flourescent returns very well. Also prevents the uv from tiring out your eyes

Yes, the yellow tinted glasses work well with UV, whereas the orange tinted glasses work well with blue lights. Both filter out the wavelength of excitation, allowing the fluorescence to be seen more clearly, thus improving contrast. As the wavelength drops to 380 and below, I don't find glasses necessary -- except for a safety measure, of course!
