I figured out why my Pelican M6 3w turns on 5 or 6 seconds after I click the button. Well, a month or two ago, I did a pretty stupid thing, I put a Titanium batt in with a surefire batt. Then I quickly realized it because it wouldnt turn on. So I opened the top, and it reecked like burnt electronics. I cleaned it out with some lysol to get rid of the oder. Had I left it in for a few more seconds..... well, it could have gotten pretty dangerous. I warn you all, DO NOT MIX BATTS (as if that hasnt already been said). But Pelican, with their superb customer service, hooked me up.

well, if you have a problem, talk to their reps in the USA and insist that THEY send you the replacement. I am sure they will.
