keyless entry through a cell phone call?

keyless entry through a cell phone call? apprently if you locked you keys in the car and you have another set at the house you can call you house on your cell phone to someone at the house with a cell phone and and they press the unlock button and your doors will unlock through the phone??? This seems too good to be true, so it probably is, besides a phone and a keyless entry system use entirley different spectrum of signals.

So you take a modulated radio frequency, convert it to piggy back on a digital transmission, then somehow on the other end it miraculously extracts the correct frequency, and modulation from the earpiece of the digital device. Makes perfect sense to me. NOT !!!
