I have for sale a 'hotwire starter kit' if you will. It includes the following:
Flashlightlens.com UCL lens $7
Modamag cammed LOP reflector $25
Modamag 8AA to 2D battery adapter $18
Fivemega bi-pin to PR base adapter $30
1 brand new 1185 bulb $5
1 1185 bulb with about 2 hours runtime at spec (not overdriven) $5
1 1274 bulb with 10 or 15 minutes of runtime on 7 cells $5
I have less than three hours total use on any of these pieces but as much fun as the hotwire scene is, I've decided that the Streamlight TL-3 is bright and throwy enough for my needs. All you need to add is your own Maglite and your choice of cells.
I have $95 plus shipping invested and will sell for $75 shipped First Class uninsured to the 48 states. I will accept transfer or CC funded paypal or a postal money order.
