My L2 has voltage regulation on high but not low. The last time the battery started going dead I could hardly see the low setting but high was still going ok then it would just quit.
Today all of a sudden my low is fine but my high is not working at all. I even bypassed the two stage cap and all I got was the low setting. I put in a new battery and now I have the light working normal.
I checked the battery voltages and found that the "dead" cell is at 2.78 volts and the new one after using it a minute or two is at 2.94. My question is....shouldn't 2.78 volts be plenty to run this light? I am still at 90 percent of original battery voltage with 2.78 volts. Very odd to me. I have taken the battery out and put it back in to check for ill fit but nothing is apparent. Even if this voltage was low I should still have my high and the low should be dimming out.
