Thinking back to about 2002 when nobody had ever heard of a 3 watt LED, people were drooling over the Arc LS with a 3 digit price tag, and China was just a place where foreign people lived. 
Just curious, when were the 1 and 5 watt Luxeons first released? Did Lumileds make lower output LEDs prior to that?
