Surefire reflector question

I was wondering if anyone knows how hot you can get a surefire reflector? Is there some sort of polymere coating between the base and the reflective coat that will melt? Anyone know any temperature limits?

I'm not thinking bulb or LED hot, I'm thinking "put it in a furnace" hot.

Thanks

There is a "glue" between the reflective surface and the head of the light or the aluminum of the reflector and it will bubble at some point. I just don't remember exactly what it was that I was doing when I discovered that.
