Hi All,

Just wanted to pass along a little helpful tip.

After my fenix l2p slipped out of my pocket at work and landed on the hard concrete floor (ouch) putting a little knick in the black anodizing, I went searching for some protection for the ends. I've found that 3/4 inch heatshrink tubing fits just about perfectly over the light a bit snuggish.

I cut little .250" strips (one for each end) and slipped them on after applying some rubber contact cement (without which they will slip off). I could've heated them for a tighter fit but I figured they would look like poo poo since the tubing I used has a 2:1 shrink ratio and I wanted them flush with the flashlight ends since that is the most likely spot to take a hit on a fall. It also keeps the rest of the light slightly above any surface it might be laying on preventing scratches to the body on rough surfaces but still doesn't stop it from rolling around.

And it still fits in the included holster to boot (pun intended ), albeit a little more tightly. I took some photos but alas I'm too much of a newb here and the system won't allow me to post attachments.

UPDATE, here are links to the pics. Don't know how long they'll last though.
