Warning First
Driving your Fenix L1/L2 series light with a 3V CR2 or RCR2 may damage the circuit or LED.

Picture below shows (from top) 2xAA L2P body, 1xAA L1p body, 1xCR2 body and a CR2 body
fitted with a L2P bezel and tail (the bezel was not tightened properly and you can slightly
see the O-ring).




- CNC Machined Aluminum
- Black Matte Anodized Inside and Out (NOT HAIII but matches the original finish nicely).
Removing the ano on both ends (to achieve contact) will be done by myself
- O-ring grooves were designed to accomodate the new thicker O-rings. A pair of them
will be provided with each body

- $US14 each. Paypal Only. Price includes Ordinary Airmail in a padded envelope
regardless of location, Paypal source, number of pieces ordered, etc

- Will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged during transit
- EMS shipping (faster and with insurance and tracking#) is US$10 extra to available

Why mod this nice AA Lux light? Why use expensive lithiums? Is it really necessary to
make the Fenix smaller? Are you tired of all the Fenix threads popping up everywhere :shrug:

I dunno but I wanted a CR2 light with a clicky tailcap and I think this will be one of
the smallest available.

There are other members who are more qualified to comment on what is possible
(and what not) with a 3V or 3.7V setup. I hope they can enlighten us a bit if necessary.

Thanks for offering these! I'm in for TWO.

One suggestion... would it be possible to make the body diameter match
the diameter of the head and tail? That would make the lines look better.

when I can. Basically, the difference in length of an AA and CR2 will reflect how shorter the light will be

hyperslug, The light with a CR2 body measures approx. 67.5mm

Silly question. Have you thought about offering a single AA body for those who have an L2P but want the option of running it on a single Lithium or NiMH AA? It would be cheaper than buying an L1P - then again maybe most CPFers probably have both already.... :shrug:
