Fenix stainless L1+ and L1P v2.0 can use 14500 li-ion and AA alk. Fenix L1P 1watt draw 2.7+ amps with 14500 and will quickly kill light.
you may need to add a dap of solder to 2.0 and L1+ board to contact properly with flat top 14500.
