I was thinking of getting the SL 3N Propolymer LED but I have never heard of the batteries it uses. Where do you get some and how much do they cost?
Thanks for your help,

You can get N cells most places that sell cameras. They are somewhat costly compared to AA and AAA batteries. I have an old light that uses 2 N cells and a #222 bulb and quit using it because of the cost and runtime.

Beaver,

When that light was introduced A few years ago i was going to buy one. The reason i didn't was because of the N batteries. If you want a small light with 3 LEDs in it, just take a mini-mag & put the $5 nite-ize LED kit in it. Many CPF members like it for close-up work including myself. But if you work around hazardous flammable gases then stick with the SL PP lights. Here's some N batteries for you, they are not cheap like AAs: http://cgi.ebay.com/Lot-of-24-DURACELL-MN9100B2PK-N-Size-Battery-Alkaline_W0QQitemZ6837254252QQcategoryZ32783QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

John
