Re: San Diego deputy shoots Air Force Cop

The deputy looked a little trigger happy there. He instructs the guy to get up, guy says I'm getting up, and then the idiot shoots him three times... Nice... the deputy gets paid leave for this, wonderful...

Does the link still go to the correct story? The videos I watched from that link talk about a guy they were beating the crap out of that had a long criminal record. Didn't see anyone get shot.

Video doesn't seem to be available now... The video clip I saw on Google videos was too poor to make anything out and the sound had been edited. Btw, IIRC, it was San Bernardino SO.

Re: San Diego deputy shoots Air Force Cop

wow --- tripple tap

and some people wonder why some law abiding peacefull citizens do not trust the police.

wasn't there a cop busted for robbing a store recently ?

police are a nessasary part of society.

there sure seems to be quite a few bad apples wearing the badge.

maybe the badge should be a lot harder to obtain.

You must have seen a different video because no one got beat up in this incident, just one guy getting shot.

It sure won't come up for me...it says it's "not currently available"...the other videos that come up on the same site work fine (it just plays them one after the other)...

That's because it's still in your cache from when you got it before (they took it down).

Re: San Diego deputy shoots Air Force Cop

Anybody remember the video of the young female officer that kinda "slips" and shoots a man being handcuffed, lying face-down on the ground??

I want to follow this one and see how it turns out..

Jumpmaster.

I SHUT DOWN, (cleared my cache) and went back and it worked.

However, go to MSN videos, click on NEWS in the bottom left, and it is the right top video.

Re: San Diego deputy shoots Air Force Cop

Irony,
The guy makes it through a tour in Iraq as Air Force Security, goes home and gets shot by the police! Luckily, the cop was a much worse shot than he was so he will recover. Maybe the cop got edgy because the guy actually listened to him and followed procedure...

If you're using IE, the cache doesn't get cleared automatically simply by exiting the browser or shutting down...but I'm sure you already knew that. :)

And the video still isn't there. I tried going to the link the way you recommended (http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm) and it still gives the "clip requested is not available", as shown above. Here is the link it gives if you copy the link from the webpage above:
http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=dec44eca-1cef-42fe-911d-c8e2513c24ab&f=

Not trying to be argumentative, but if it was there before (and I'm sure it was), it's not now...or they changed the link -- something. It'd be nice if someone might put it on google video or somewhere, if they still have it on their computer.

Just saw it a minute ago on CNN Headline News. Grainy and low light with weak audio.

Interesting, I cleared my cache, cookies, temp files, closed out, shut down, went out.

Restarted, went to MSN video on another machine, found the video as I described above, watched it.

Then came back, restarted my desktop and did the same.

What is going on?

Now I've gone back and followed Jumpmasters links and it IS gone.

Then I went to MSN on my own and it's gone!

VERY interesting!!

And this link where I initially saw it, does not have it now!

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/state/20060131-1742-ca-airmanshooting.html

And the TV stations in San Diego, several of which had the video onsite, no longer do!!

This gets curiouser and curiouser!!!
