LED ASAP can hook you up. I had a ARC he modded with a Lux I at 400ma. I'd imagine it was between 15-20 lumens. I think he can also do Lux IIIs for shorter runtimes though heat will start to be an issue unless you hold all around the light quite tightly. But for a minute or two at a time, it should be fine.

If cost were no object, imagine a U-bin at about 350ma... should be about 50 lumens!

Raggs, I'd love to hold the sun in my hands also. For now I'll settle for my QIII now that I've found how much brighter it is when running on a rechargeable. I guess my dream light would be a mag-sized HID though.

Regular ol' stock QIII? I know, it's possible, not really recommended, but done by everyone and their mamas and is somehow safe, yet still not recommended.... ANYway, and yours? (modded or stock?) I'm just wondering because I gave 4 QIII's for Christmas (and still have never seen one at night....tsk tsk) and would like some more information on this, so I can have some interesting/exciting information/demonstrations for them. It'd be great to be able to bring along a RCR123, next time I know I'll be seeing them at night, and wow them. But, I want to be confident that it's safe, first.
