What o-ring for Jil Intelli and where to get?

Howdy,

The o-ring that came with the light needs to be replaced. I tried carrying the light without the oring but it keeps turning on in my pocket.

Can someone tell me what size and type of o-ring I need and where to purchase it. I'd prefer not to order it from Korea.

Here's a size chart. If you can measure the OD of the groove you'll find it on this chart. Once you know the size, you can buy it at McMaster Carr industrial supply: http://www.mcmaster.com/ You'll have to buy a pack of 100, but it will only cost around $4 plus shipping.

If you live in or near a medium to big city, look for a Parker or any other hydraulic dealer. They'll sell you one if they have it in stock. Don't expect to find it in a plumbing supply or a home center.

I have had a lot of trouble finding the two that I need locally, so I bit the bullet and ordered them at McMC. I'll probably post them free for the taking in the group buy forum.

Hopefully someone who has an intelli can measure it and post the size.

My guess is you want something this size. You'll want a nice quality ring, something soft.
