I so far have not been impressed with LEDs as far as throw goes. I have a few led headlamps that serve their purpose. LED flashlights do not have the throw that I thought they would, but after finding this place I have seen some pretty bright LEDs like in the 5W area. More specifically the Mag2C showcased over the playboy magazine with beamshots up close. I would like to see beamshots of that one and others, at maybe 50 yards or even 100 yards. THis isn't too much to ask for is it? I have an insatiable desire for long running, far throwing, bright flashlights.
