Need help modding a Dorcy 1AAA light please

Pictured is my Fenix L1P with my new Dorcy 1AAA. My question is I'd like to mod the Dorcy with a mjled for increased output.

Can someone post a link or send instructions on how to do this? My modding experience to date has been to put a Nite Ize drop-in for my old Maglite 2AA.

I tried searching for this on the site, got hundreds of hits, but no step by step instructions on how to mod a Dorcy 1AAA.

Are you handy with a soldering iron?

Once you open the head and get the circuit out, you can just unsolder the original LED, cut the MJLED leads with an appropriate length(take note of the positive and negative lead; longer lead = positive) and solder it in the circuit board. The LEDs positive lead goes with side where a '+' print on the circuit board can be found. To get a boost in output, you can short-out the resistor(the one with an 'R' and a numerical value printed on it; I forgot which value it was).

Assemble everything back and your done.
