I just ordered a M6 guardian and it will be here in one week. I have been told not to install the mn20 lamp assembly. does anybody why they say this, If you have knowledge on this topic please tell me. Thank you.

MN20 Lamps are backordered and have been for 6 months or more.
Surefire is redesigning the lamp, according to a good source. I'm not sure why you were told not to install it, because they haven't been shipping with one for quite a while. You get a coupon good for one when they become available again.
