I have the MB3WHA ordered, should be here in a week or 2. I will be able to post a review at that time, but it does seem like a nice light.

I like the stages on the emilion light, but i like the tailcap switch on the CPF special. IF only the CPF special was 2 stages. WHat to do.... I wonder which is brighter.

Its just that, your like me an most others here, very picky, and sometimes all over the place.

You know, i would suggest the E1L(Yes, i own one, and i do love it amongst my others), but i know from past & present ongoing threads, its not dual stages, its not a reflector based light, it cant throw like a PM6, it cant flood like a PM6,Its regulation is short, its not very bright by some's standards, so its not worthy, but it can run a Li-Ion well.lol

I, am just teasing the obvious David, i mean, laughing with you.

Btw, good luck on finding the light that replaces your present one, i am really curious what you do decide upon.

HA HA..... You remember all that :) U crack me up. I am very picky, and many know that... really picky. I already own the KL1 on the vital gear FB1. Isnt it funny how we buy a light, then imediately look for a new one that will push the other one farther back in the closet.... ahh well, its the CPF way. Do you do the same?

Cheapo,

Surefire L1 -

One of the best single cell lights for THROW - flashlightreviews.com - 38.31 !
Two stage tail cap switch with a run time of 1 hr. 58 minutes on high. From
what I've read it can go for more than 70 hours on low. Small enough to easly
fit in the pocket for EDC. Type III anodize coating for durability. Pyrex lens
system. This light has excellent throw and is tough as a brick poop house and
can be had for less that $ 100.00.

So it's got an optial system, it's got THROWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Try it you may like it. .............................. :grin2: Love mine.

I took a look at flashlightreviews.com Throw chart

and Cheapo's other choice of the Peak CPF Special on 3.6V RCR123 actually slightly out-throws the SureFire L1 at a reading of 40.62...

This leads me to some speculation/guesswork -
Peak CPF Special on 3.6V RCR123 is what made me investigate that group of LightHound 3watt Single 3.6V RCR123 Rechargeable flashlights (link to big shootout review) with the Nuwai Q3 also on 3.6V RCR123.....

From that comparison I found the V3 seemed to be noticably brighter and out-throws the Q3 on 3.6V RCR123 - to the point that I thought it was in a similar ballpark as the fabulous Streamlight Scorpion xenon (2x CR123) which has a flashlightreviews throw rating of 66.47 (!) -

I do not have measuring instruments for throw - but I can show outdoors "practical" beamshot for a distance of about 33feet......
from this thread -
"Practical" Beamshots? pt.2 (outdoors)

V3 3watt single 3.6V RCR123 Rechargeable ................................... Streamlight Scorpion (new bulb & batteries)

Look at these beamshots (which have used the exact same exposure settings - see link above) side-by-side and judge for yourself.......

yeah, me too, I just got some cash, and now I think I am hooked to this light. I would really like it if there was a passaround on this light.
